Jennifer Lynn Meisenhelder
Master of Science, Environmental Engineering
Bachelor of Science, Environmental Resource Management

As a Master's student, my research interests range from fate of contaminants from stormwater installations to co-metabolism of TCE in a biofilm. While these interests seemingly have little in common other than modeling, what motivated me was the applicability of the research findings to industry and the usefulness of the results of the studies.

While I was a student I gave several guest lecture presentations and enjoyed participating in the dissemination of knowledge and research.

I'm looking forward to once again contributing to the engineering field through research, teaching and the investigation of multi-disciplinary environmental problems.

The following documents contain information of specific value to assist in your decision making processes:

My intent as I entered the consultancy world was to apply the breadth and depth of knowledge I acquired at the Pennsylvania State University and The Technical University of Denmark. The opportunity to help solve practical environmental issues as well as obtaining experience contributed to my understanding of the engineering field in general.

In my work as Senior Project Engineer at King Engineering Associates, Inc. I enjoy contributing to multi-disciplinary projects from the initial design phase through completion of construction.

My clients have included government entities as well as large land developers. The different perspectives of these and of my other clients have added to my understanding of environmental challenges. My exposure to the consultancy world has provided ideas for further study and research when appropriate for me to pursue a Doctorate of Philosophy.

Join me in my support of Water for People as they expand into the country of Rwanda.

War-torn and poverty stricken, Rwanda is the most densely populated in Africa and since the genocide in 1994, more than half of it's population are children. Getting clean water and sanitation to these people will not only help to decrease one of the highest infant mortality rates in the world, it will help pave the road to recovery from their tragic past.

You can help. Here's how.
